Description Anton Bolshakov 2023-12-13 15:16:13 UTC
Hi, I was not able to login to nvidia today, and I found direct links.
nixpkgs has the following:

https://git.sr.ht/~andir/nixpkgs/tree/master/item/pkgs/development/libraries/science/math/cudnn/releases.nix

Please double check if it breaks any licences and consider using it too.

Thanks.

Are you sure you are using ::gentoo ebuilds?

::gentoo already uses these.

https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/dev-libs/cudnn/cudnn-8.8.0.121.ebuild#n14
Comment 2 Anton Bolshakov 2023-12-14 01:20:14 UTC
>>> Fetching (1 of 1) dev-libs/cudnn-8.8.0.121::pentoo

!!! dev-libs/cudnn-8.8.0.121 has fetch restriction turned on.
!!! This probably means that this ebuild's files must be downloaded
!!! manually. See the comments in the ebuild for more information.

 * Fetch failed for 'dev-libs/cudnn-8.8.0.121'
 * Please download cudnn-linux-x86_64-8.8.0.121_cuda12-archive.tar.xz from https://developer.nvidia.com/rdp/cudnn-download
 * The archive should then be placed into your DISTDIR directory.

oh, sorry. I have forked ebuilds few month ago, and the fetch restriction was there.

Thanks!
