Depending whether you used gentoo-kernel or gentoo-kernel-bin, the distribution kernel is either built as part of the emerge or installed as pre-built; that is, the command 'make' is not used. Perhaps you confused gentoo-sources and gentoo-kernel? Sounds like you installed gentoo-kernel when you really wanted gentoo-sources. I managed to installed: linux-6.1.60-gentoo-dist but it should be: linux-6.1.57-gentoo |
