I have made an ebuild for 1.26, which seems to work fully for me. I have probably got too many crates pulled in as dependencies, and will spend some time weeding out the additional ones. The ebuild is attached. Created attachment 880118 [details]

See my comment regarding the crates - I believe some need to be removed as dependencies, and I will submit an updated crate once I have been through the list.
