To repeat myself: it's got something to do with clang, your cpu and skia, and clang/skia enabling some parameters not supported by your CPU. Use specific -march (not native) or compile firefox with gcc (-clang use flag). Sure VirtualBox can mess it up, I don't know exactly how. But try with GCC (-clang use flag).
