xrandr with HDMI attached
This is likely a config issue and not a bug per se. Please seek help in Gentoo support channels (forums, mailing lists, IRC). |
Created attachment 875671 [details] emerge --info I have a newer monitor, connected via a Display Port cable. Both sound and audio are working fine. I tried plugging in my old monitor with a HDMI cable (it does not have Display Port capability) and the graphics work fine, the old monitor is secondary. The problem is the sound switches to the HDMI port, and the old monitor does not have speakers, so there is no sound. # ls -ld /usr/src/linux lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Jun 13 19:07 /usr/src/linux -> linux-6.1.31-gentoo I could update to 6.1.57, I doubt that would affect this issue. media-libs/alsa-lib 1.2.9 media-sound/pulseaudio 16.1
