It seems upstream tags new releases for some months even if not doing official releases:
https://github.com/Rasbats/DR_pi/tags


Probably it would be interesting to try to bump to the latest tag (5.0.3). Also would be interesting to try if that newer version works with WX_GTK_VER="3.2-gtk3"
