emerge --info emacs
We install the upstream emacs.service file from the etc/ directory in the tarball, with only small distro-specific changes of binary paths. I suggest that you report the problem upstream (unless NixOS already has?). If some fix gets accepted, we can then backport it to slot 29. Reading the NixOS PR, they weren't really eager about merging it. Especially: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/246008#issuecomment-1675754892 "I must say that I'm not a great fan of this change either. It feels to me like this is an upstream bug?" (In reply to Ulrich Müller from comment #2) > I suggest that you report the problem upstream (unless NixOS already has?). > If some fix gets accepted, we can then backport it to slot 29. Have you reported the problem upstream? |
