You should probably report this upstream... please report upstream, opera 8 is crashing a lot here as well, just nothing to mark stable yet http://snapshot.opera.com/unix/u801p1.html new release fixes crashes. So a new ebuild for Opera8.01 technical preview 1 would be nice. Created attachment 59024 [details]

Version bumped ebuild [tested only in x86]
The current ebuild downloads the .5 version. On SMP systems it appears .6 is working a lot better. Opera has released this version on its mirrors and seems to be advising to use that one. This has resolved a lot of crashes here. where does opera advise using the .6 version? just corious *** Bug 95015 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** this oen was only a preview version of opera-8.01. the final version was released yesterday and is now in portage, please use this one. |
