compile error
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 81194 *** It's not the same bug I'm an x86 developer, and can't investigate bugs on amd64 atm. Re-assigning to the AMD64 team to see if they can help. Best regards, Stu could you please post the content of /usr/include/asm/param.h? are you trying to emerge this in a chrooted system or another special environment? i tried this in my devel-chroot and got the same errors as you, but when i compiled a kernel and installed the modules in the right place, it succeeded Created attachment 59788 [details]

Sorry for the delay.
No I'am trying to build in a chroot
ok, then it's probably the same as here... do you have a link from /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build to /usr/src/linux-$(uname -r)? if not, that's probably the problem. copy your /usr/src/linux/.config from outside into the chroot system and do 'make modules modules_install' again Sorry, sorry... I forgot to type a Not... No, I'am not trying to build in a chroot. When I come home I will check if i have the link: /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build to /usr/src/linux-$(uname -r) I have the link okay, i just had a look at the param.h again. the "../asm-i386/param.h" is wrong, it should be <asm-i386/param.h>. same of course for the x86_64 variant. this has been fixed since quite some time, re-merging linux-headers should correct it. after that, shfs should build successfully A re-emerge of linux-headers, followed by a re-emerge of glibc did the tick. Please make a version bump when fixing bugs.... [ebuild R ] sys-kernel/linux-headers-2.6.8.1-r4 Thank you for the help! |
