I'm getting the following warning from aclocal-1.9.4 when it runs through pkgconfig-0.15.0:

/usr/share/aclocal/pkg.m4:5: warning: underquoted definition of PKG_CHECK_MODULES

This is not really an issue, and the given patch is useless since it's against your local filesystem, not the package sources.
