DEPEND="dev-perl/module-build" in File-Spec-3.06, which is what PathTools provides. I'll take a long shot here and say you installed this with g-cpan originally and it's sitting in your overlay ;) Remove it from your overlay and emerge the newer File-Spec. Uh. I'm sorry confusing you. I had installed PathTools with g-cpan.pl No problem. The new version of g-cpan (emerge g-cpan :) ) will add that dep as needed now, and in the next version we won't let you emerge PathTools from CPAN any more (it'll pull from portage under the old name).
