Did you initially reboot you system after dowgrading of xf86-input-wacom driver to version 1.1.0 before the crash was reproduced again?

I did not originally, which in hindsight seems like the obvious thing to do. Now that I have rebooted with xf86-input-wacom-1.1.0 the crash appears not to be happening. I suppose the bug is with the most recent wacom drivers after all. With version 1.2.0 interestingly the bug was not happening with inkscape or any other program that I noticed, just Gimp. I will try using Gimp with the 1.1.0 version of the wacom drivers for an extended period of time and see if the crash happens at all, but as of yet I have been unable to reproduce it with 1.1.0. Thanks for response I then close thisil issue as duplicate. There are two proposed similar merge request mentioned in wacom upstream issue https://github.com/linuxwacom/xf86-input-wacom/issues/307 but no one of them still is merged. Also this issue is related to gtk2: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/merge_requests/6045 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 906995 *** |
