Issue: app-emacs/ecb-2.50_pre20170728 fails to compile (PYTHON-3.12-SYSTEM).
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: python-3.12_tinderbox)

NOTE:
(PYTHON-3.12-SYSTEM) in the summary means that the bug was found on a machine that runs python-3.12 but this bug MAY or MAY NOT BE related to the new python version

This may be a removal candidate. Fails to build with recent Emacs versions and no visible upstream activity since 2017.

There is a fork at https://github.com/snegovick/ecb (which seems to address the cl-defmethod issue) but its status is unclear.
