emerge output
I don't get how this one happened, wonder if the logic for choosing elogind vs systemd in the build system is wrong? I meant to paste the whole warning:

(In reply to Penguin from comment #3) > I meant to paste the whole warning: [...] This doesn't look at all relevant to accountsservice or elogind. Maybe your system didn't succeeded on getting completely updated. I would retry emerge -vuDN world and I would also depclean obsolete packages (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #5) > Maybe your system didn't succeeded on getting completely updated. I would > retry emerge -vuDN world and I would also depclean obsolete packages Just ran emerge -vuDN @world and emerge --depclean and the warning still persists. It isn't bothering me. I just thought I should make a bug report. (In reply to Penguin from comment #6) > Just ran emerge -vuDN @world and emerge --depclean and the warning still > persists. It isn't bothering me. I just thought I should make a bug report. Can you post here the updated new warning after updating and depcleaning? Thanks (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #7) > (In reply to Penguin from comment #6) > > Just ran emerge -vuDN @world and emerge --depclean and the warning still > > persists. I've attached the new log Created attachment 865910 [details]
sync and emerge and depclean
(In reply to Penguin from comment #9) > Created attachment 865910 [details] > sync and emerge and depclean # eix-sync && -DNuv @world && emerge --depclean typo, you forgot an 'emerge' Created attachment 865911 [details]

emerge depclean then emerge make
Bonus log of me running emerge --depclean and then getting the warnings with emerge make
Are you still hitting this on a fully updated system? (after emerge --sync && emerge -uDN world ...) (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #14) > Are you still hitting this on a fully updated system? (after emerge --sync > && emerge -uDN world ...) My hard drive died on the install used to make this bug report, and I've since reinstalled gentoo.(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #14) > Are you still hitting this on a fully updated system? (after emerge --sync > && emerge -uDN world ...) I am on a new system because my hard drive failed on the old install, but I am no longer getting this warning. Should I close the ticket? I would do as we couldn't ever reproduce, and I am not sure how the system ended up in that state 🤔 |
