If you open Nautilus in Terminal and then try to connect to a Samba share, do you get any output in the terminal? Also, emerge -pvO nautilus samba please. |
When I enter a Samba server address in my GUI in Nautilus and click on connect, nothing happens and the connection cannot be established.
