emerge -p GraphViz

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "GraphViz".

Not sure what you were expecting - we don't support/offer GraphViz, nor do we have a requirement to.
Comment 2 Mark Hughes 2005-04-28 09:46:54 UTC
Odd. I get this:

root@mantis vb # emerge -p GraphViz

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!

Comment 3 Mark Hughes 2005-04-28 09:48:54 UTC
Is it because I did

g-cpan.pl GraphViz first? If so, then is this a g-cpan.pl bug?
Comment 4 Elfyn McBratney (beu) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-28 09:51:26 UTC
Well, let me see .. it's not in my portage tree and it's not in CVS .. so, yes, I think it _is_ because you ran g-cpan.
Comment 5 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-28 09:53:58 UTC
g-cpan placed it in your overlay. that's a feature ;)
Comment 6 Mark Hughes 2005-04-28 09:56:00 UTC
Well. I'm a dummy. (It's amazing how fast people respond when I am doing something stupid.) Thanks.
Comment 7 Michael Cummings (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-28 10:05:39 UTC
Don't take it personally. Just switched over to Konversation, am in #gentoo-bugs on irc, and yours was the first bug that caused my pop-up to go off and tell me there was a new perl bug ;)

Usually I'm lucky if I respond in the first week...
