I think Chewi said this dep was legit but fixed in the new version Yes, this is addressed in the gamescope 3.12.0_beta3 bump. I'd also like to stress that hyprland is an overlay package, and we make no guarantees about staying compatible with overlays. It's in Gentoo now fwiw. |
Created attachment 861149 [details] emerge --info for gamescope Currently, hyprland needs libdisplay-info-0.1.1 to emerge, whereas gamescope needs <libdisplay-info-0.1.0 to function. This obviously leads to conflicting dependencies, requiring to deselect one or the other. This could be fixed by bumping up the version of libdisplay-info to 0.1.1 for gamescope, however, i am not aware of the repercussions
