I've found that pwmconfig fails to locate the correct modules, but after a short search I've found the solution on fedora's bugzilla.

the patch that is provided there works fine for me. :)

Reporter, please see if the newly added sys-apps/lm_sensors-2.9.1 fixes this issue.
