I am having the same problem when trying to build gpaste. Not sure on how this could be fixed. mutter-clutter-9 was provided by mutter-41, so USE=gnome on this hasn't been working since GNOME 42. This is only required with USE=gnome, so you could install it without the GNOME extension. However, upstream is up to version 45.1 by now, ported to meson build system and doesn't depend on mutter-clutter for its gnome-shell extension anymore, but no-one has bumped this package as no-one maintains it. A contribution opportunity here! whoops, I was looking at the wrong thing. The version we have in tree still has a configure.ac too, so I looked at that. However that version already has a meson.build too, and the ebuild has been ported over to that, but with bugs. Namely in that old upstream version meson.build looks for the mutter-clutter stuff under introspection flag, not gnome flag, so you'd need to disable that as well to get it to build. |
