Two questions to ask: 1) does this still happen with rmagick 5.3.0? 2) doest this still happen with a more recent imagemagick? The rmagick test suite has proven to be fairly fragile for underlying minor changes in imagemagick. I can't reproduce this with imagemagick 7.1.1.6 (current 7.x stable version). This does not repro on 5.3.0, however they introduced a compaction requirement which does not work on ruby31 on powerpc. Tests pass with ruby32. Finished in 1 minute 23.47 seconds (files took 0.55175 seconds to load) 740 examples, 0 failures, 1 pending <internal:gc>:257:in `verify_compaction_references': Compaction isn't available on this platform (NotImplementedError) from /var/tmp/portage/dev-ruby/rmagick-5.3.0/work/ruby31/rmagick-RMagick_5-3-0/spec/spec_helper.rb:48:in `block in <top (required)>' * ERROR: dev-ruby/rmagick-5.3.0::gentoo failed (test phase): |
