Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2023-04-20 15:32:34 UTC
I was wondering about why I was needing to re-type my password just after login in my gnome session. It seems keychain has stopped recognizing the gdm launched ssh-agent. I have tried to go back to gdm-43 and it "solves" the problem. I also checked that upstream 44.rc version already breaks it.

I suspect on this merge request:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gdm/-/merge_requests/188

Because, since running gdm-44, when running "w" I can see that two TTYs are used for my logged in user: the regular running on :0 and a new "seat0" that I think is the one confusing keychain.

The problem is that I don't know if it is a gdm bug or keychain is doing something it should not :/

Thanks for your help on this
