I ran into the same failure during a emerge -e world. If needed, I can post my build log as well. I just built a new rig and almost a year later, running into same failure. Any ideas on solving this? I had the same issue on sci-electronics/pcb-4.2.2. I do not know why it happens, as I could not find any differences in the Makefile for aries.m4 and the other .m4 targets. With the temp files of the failed build I used the following workaround to get sci-electronics/pcb-4.2.2 installed and a working binpkg of it. This might also help with sci-electronics/pcb-4.3.0 As root: cd /var/tmp/portage/sci-electronics/pcb-4.2.2/work/pcb-4.2.2/lib make aries.m4 chown portage:portage aries.m4 ebuild /var/db/repos/gentoo/sci-electronics/pcb/pcb-4.2.2.ebuild merge package |
