After working through the 4.1.5 and 4.1.7 releases, I have a new ebuild ready for osiris-4.1.8.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:




Have tested ebuild on x86 and amd64 - specifically, starting/stopping daemons,
email notifications, USE flags settings. Haven't tested scheduled scan.

Ebuild is properly configured to use the new (in 4.1.8) -e option to write PID
out to alternate directory (/var/run/osiris). It might be a nice feature to
include in the future a customized Gentoo configuration for osirismd.

This ebuild uses a USE flag called "osiris-console" which would need a
description added; this enables building the management console and CLI versus
just the scan daemon.

I question whether the 'need net' in the depend() functions of the init script
is really required, you can *technicall* run Osiris in standalone mode.

This ebuild also works correctly on AMD64.

Too many bugs on the same thing. Please continue in the pending bug.
