Created attachment 857439 [details] build.log The compilation uses /usr/lib/libpcre2-8.so instead of /usr/lib64/libpcre2-8.so. There is an error finding the correct version using the original /var/tmp/portage/app-text/editorconfig-core-c-0.12.5/work/editorconfig-core-c-0.12.5/CMake_Modules/FindPCRE2.cmake I propose editing for searching through pkg-config (look at the patch).
