granted the script isn't perfect , however it can still be at times useful... 

--side notes 
i rebuilt desktop , however it's been out of sync with the usual... case mobo updated cpu .. 

laptop trying to back up before i ship to a repair place , that specializes in solideing stuff without turning it's mobo to a crisp.  stupid jack... curses... 

cp updates to desktop  and do the usual's 
 
anyways that is when i happened to take note of it..

It was very hard to understand this bug report, but I think the reporter is saying that app-portage/emake from the darkelf repository is no longer fetchable, or the homepage is bad?

No my homepage is working alright, you just need to use the proper http protocol and not https:
