glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1 fails to emerge for me with FEATURES="maketest" enabled.  It fails when running checks with the following in 
/var/tmp/portage/glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1/work/build-default-i686-pc-linux-gnu-linuxthreads/libio/tst-atime.out :
atime has not changed

Since I have noatime on the filesystem which it is compiling on, I belive this represents 'desired' behavior, not a failure in the library.  A patch probably needs to be applied that checks to whether noatime is in use on the filesystem, and if so, bypasses the tst-atime check.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enable 'noatime' on the filesystem which portage uses to compile
2. enable 'maketest' in FEATURES in /etc/make.conf
3. try to emerge glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1

Actual Results:  

make check fails on libio during the tst-atime test.

Expected Results:  

Check should either check for, or be bypassed if, noatime option is enabled on
the filesystem.

Unset:  ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, PORTDIR_OVERLAY

Results are unaltered by turning CFLAGS down to "-pipe" (as is expected, due to
the nature of the isssue).

Turning off 'maketest' in FEATURES allows normal compilation and installation
(but shouldn't be the answer).
