ibus-libpinyin 1.15.2 version bump https://github.com/libpinyin/ibus-libpinyin/releases Could we possibly prioritize this higher as I run into the problem described in Bug 898478 during an 'emerge -uDN world' which tries to install this old version again. (In reply to Stephan Litterst from comment #2) > Could we possibly prioritize this higher as I run into the problem described > in Bug 898478 during an 'emerge -uDN world' which tries to install this old > version again. We can't upgrade to this version at this time - as shown this bug is dependent on 899888 which is a package i do not maintain. Until that underlying library is upgraded this package cannot be upgraded to the latest version HOWEVER, The good news is that I have already backported the fix for the bug you mentioned as a patch - so it is actually fixed in version ibus-libpinyin-1.13.1-r1. If you want this fixed right now just put e.g. ~amd64 in your accept_keywords for ibus-libpinyin. Alternatively you can just wait a bit, and it shouldn't take too long for this to get stablized (working on it now). Until that > underlying library is upgraded this package cannot be upgraded to the latest > version I think we may need you to do it, tbh, if you're willing Good news! Thanks a lot :-) I've installed it - works fine - thanks again! :-) so this is blocked by app-i18n/libpinyin-2.8.1? bug #899888 or anyone want to work on this? and probably send a PR, so I can take a look at.. I would have sent as a pull request myself - but i am unsure of the consequences or additional work required for fctix-libpinyin (if any).
