Uhm, every time I upgrade Mozilla/Firefox and everything goes wrong, the advice I get from the upstream guys is to delete the profile - which "fixes" that but it Uhm, every time I upgrade Mozilla/Firefox and everything goes wrong, the advice I get from the upstream guys is to delete the profile - which "fixes" that but it´s obviously not a fix but rather a workaround hiding the true cause behind this, i.e. Windows-oriented programming... So my _personal_ I guess you should complain upstream very loudly b/c the whole profile thing is evil(tm), insane and FUBAR. :-( Closing UPSTREAM, I'm afraid Gentoo won't fix the borkage that happens to profiles after upgrade. |
