The patch is not yet merged into Linus's tree, and I can't find where the netfilter tree is maintained. Would like to have confirmation that it has been merged first.

Still not included. Please test vanilla-sources-2.6.12_rc4 to ensure it has been
fixed in Linus' tree.

I checked linux-2.6.12-rc4.tar.bz2 from kernel.org and the netfilter patch is
*not* included!

Try building and booting the kernel and checking for the problem. It may have
been fixed another way.
