The ebuild still needs testing. I don't know if my patch will work with 2.4 headers. I am adding this bug already to let people know that work is in progress.

Ok. I have tested this with my 2.6 kernel and it works. Someone with a 2.4 kernel should test this. You can test this by running make show in ${S} after compile.
