Specialised Dvorak keyboard settings are quite hard to handle. For example I created an xmodmap-file as an "overlay" to the usual iso-dvorak-layout with fast access to the German Umlaut letters (ä, ö, ü, ß) on the right alt-key (Alt Gr) and the keys a, o, u, s. If I need other letters (like those you wrote down) I use the compose key located on my right windows key, which you can enable with Option "XkbOptions" "compose:rwin" in the xorg.conf.

I don't know how to handle this bug. Personally I vote against to include your version into Gentoo, although you have to enable it in your xorg.conf. Another option would be, that you ask the X.Org developers to accept your keymap officially or split it up for different languages (like the those for Norwegian or Polish dvorak layouts).

Please file this upstream at bugs.freedesktop.org and post the URL here.

If it's accepted into their CVS, I will be happy to add a patch.

Thanks!
