Now I get this when I do an emerge -upvD world: Calculating world dependencies / !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=sys-fs/device-mapper-1.01" have been maske d. !!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request: - sys-fs/device-mapper-1.01.00 (masked by: ~x86 keyword) For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or section 2.2 "Software Availability" in the Gentoo Handbook. !!! (dependency required by "sys-fs/lvm2-2.01.09" [ebuild]) !!! Problem with ebuild sys-fs/lvm2-2.01.09 !!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem. !!! Depgraph creation failed. Perhaps making the non-masked lvm2 package depend on a masked version of another package is not such a good idea? are you sure that you dont have an /etc/portage/package.keyword set for lvm2? As the tree portage tree is not marking this stable yet for any arch. This ebuild is still marked unstable according to portage |
