Description Travis Silvers 2005-04-14 07:05:29 UTC
I have installed a fresh 2005.0 system. Using the genkernel.
So far everything has emerged without problems except for xorg-x11.
That emerge fails, with a -lfl not found error. See attached file for complete emerge log.
(I did env-update and source /etc/config before and after each attempt)
Things I have attempted:
1: removed all CFLAGS and xorg-x11 emerge failed in the same way.
2: re-emerged GCC and xorg-x11 emerge failed in the same way.
3: re-emerged libstdc++v3 and xorg-x11 emerge failed in the same way.
I am currently at a loss as to how else to continue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the console output of the failed emerge on AMD64.

Travis: Please attach as plain text. Forcing developers to download and unpack stuff sucks. Also paste the output of `emerge --info`.

This is the uncompressed version of the log file. Sorry for any inconvenience.
