It is not possible to install app-editors/emacs-21.3-r3 because emacs-21.3-amd64.patch is not applicable.

This is what I get:

We don't have emacs-21.3-r3.ebuild in our tree any more.
Where did you get it? If you are using old Portage tree,
please run `emerge --sync` and find emacs-21.4.ebuild.
