Virtual machine is running "Windows XP SP2". The virtual machine exhibited no problems whatsoever with the older version of VMWare. Created attachment 56097 [details]
strace of the running VMWare process...
VMware is a binary package and we do not have access to the source. Once you've started your virtual machine, you're in the realm of the application itself and will therefore need to contact VMware for support as we don't have access to the necessary information to help. That's fine. I didn't know if there was an "any any" update that should be applied that hasn't already. Thanks. Nah... I've got any any 90 on there, which didn't actually have any binary patches... Looks like it'll have to wait until someone upstream comes up with a fix... if an any 91 comes out and fixes this, feel free to REOPEN the bug. |
