Cisco vpn client is known to break some random kernels every now and then. Try to downgrade the kernel. (The Cisco VPN client is a closed source product) Uh, downgrade is not an option. I guess I'll wait and see if it works on the next one. Yes, it's closed source but it's all I've got to get to my employer's network when I'm off-site. It's what they tell me to use so I do. Anything else (if there is anything else) won't be supported. Is this about net-misc/cisco-vpnclient-3des? Looks like mis-assigned bug then. Also, still a problem, even w/ 4.7 or 4.8? Have you had a chance to try newer versions? Unfortunately, not at this point. Life keeps interfering with things like computing <G>. I have to do this on my own time and as you very well know - that can be short. I'll put it on the list to do. Since I cannot verify this myself, I'm marking it as NEEDINFO. Feel free to REOPEN it if you have the time to work on it with me. Thanks for the effort. I never got to work on it due to time constraints and I'm not running Gentoo anymore. Thanks. |
