This was one of the many ebuilds that complained :

I might have missed something...why is libtool looking for 3.4.3? I just added a symlink in /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/ that 3.4.3 was 3.4.3-20050110 and everything works fine.

You didn't run fix_libtool_files.sh like the gcc ebuild told you to. ;-)
