Issue: The files at gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/net-dns/maradns/files/maradns2 gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/net-dns/maradns/files/zoneserver2 and gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/net-dns/maradns/files/deadwood are released under a GPL license.

Since MaraDNS is BSD licensed and not GPL, these files can not be used upstream.

Please make these files BSD licensed instead of GPL licensed so that they can become part of the upstream version of MaraDNS.

Several authors have modified the init script(s) over the years. To relicense the files, you would need to track down each author and obtain their consent.
