is this still an issue? If not please close for us. it is still not working in version 1.0.6 If you would please run revdep-rebuild to make sure all deps are okay, also check to make sure permissions are okay on your ~/.thunderbird dir. I do not see anything that should be causing this issue sorry. I got the problem clearer now, i think. I used windows before installing gentoo. In windows i use thunderbird as well. In gentoo i mounted the fat32 partition on which the email-data are stored and made a symlink in ~/.thunderbird to this folder. That doesn't seems to work. It results in the bug mentioned above. But when making a new datafolder for thunderbird (a new profile folder) it is working. So, i think, it's a problem of the interpretation of data made with a windows version of thunderbird. But shoudn't it work anyway. this only works if you are using the exact same versions of thunderbird. Only way for this to work is to use -bin from portage which will match windows versions. |
