Arches, please stabilize this latest bugfix version. There's also an EAPI 7 -> 8 update, and we've dropped USE=static-libs.

This is how I would fix this ebuild.

Upstream specifically only supports amd64 in their build scripts, so
that's all I would support.

I am also concerned about the status of this package however since it
doesn't use go modules and hasn't been updated upstream since 2019. It
could potentially be a last rites candidate.
