Please use "New -> Gentoo Linux -> Component: Ebuilds" in future. Infrastructure is not the correct addressee.
Comment 2 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-07 18:51:57 UTC
when is the last time you emerge sync'd ? To get this information, do 'genlop -r | tail -n2' ( if you have gentoolkit installed ). I see you are running ~x86. Currently the ~x86 version of libglade is 2.4.2, not 0.17-r6. Also try doing 'emerge -av libglade' after syncing and see what that says. Please post the results. Thanks!
Comment 3 Joe McCann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-08 12:00:39 UTC
The two packages are slotted, so the version reported is correct. You are saying that the build just locks up once it trys to create that Makefile? The pastebin link is dead so I don't know if there is more output.

"when is the last time you emerge sync'd ?"

I sync before run update deep world. When i typed emerge -uDav world
i see two libglade packages with two different version???

btw i don't use this package yet.
