Description Joshua Hoblitt 2005-04-01 13:04:37 UTC
After updating to 2005.0 mutt started claiming that my inbox was read-only. It seems that the 1.5.8-r1 ebuild is built with +USE_DOTLOCK but /usr/bin/mutt_dotlock is not installed as root:root 0755. It needs to be root:mail 2755 to function.

Fixing the ownership and permissions resolves the issue.

Reproducible: Always

Adding mbox to your useflags solves your problem?
Comment 2 Joshua Hoblitt 2005-04-05 04:02:17 UTC
Yep, looks like mbox slipped out of my use flags at some point.
