Samba 3.0.12 has confirmed bugs with ACL's   (see url) and Windows 98. Because of this it should be hardmasked imho. Or at least a warning should be put in the ebuild when having "acl" in the use flags en certainly it should do that for the windows 98 bug.

Bugs have been fixed in 3.0.13
