Here's an update to mma-0.15. I hope this time someone will take care of this
ebuild.

1/ http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/header.txt

2/ No need to dodoc COPYING INSTALL -
http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/docfiles.txt

3/ You are *not* allowed to install *anything* to /usr/local; if the thing is
binary only, then it belongs to /opt.

4/ http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/quoting.txt - ${D}

5/ http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/spacing.txt - SRC_URI

Please, fix the above problems and reopen then.

Thanks for your quick checking...I changed what you asked for, but I did not
find any rule violation concerning ${D}.
Concerning the spacing; did you want me to put different source tarballs on
different lines? ..well, that's what I did.

regards
Alain

It still installs songs into /usr/local. Just asking again - it the package
distributed as a precompile binary? If so, it needs to go to /opt.

You should quote ${D}, as the link says:
http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm/docs/mw-faq/quoting.txt (e.g., "${D}"/usr/share/mma )

Yeah.

again fixed ebuild

Sorry, I missed the songs directory.
NO, there are no precompiled binaries in this package!
I hope quoting of the whole line is ok too(e.g. "${D}usr/share/mma")

hope this will do ;-)

mma-0.16 new ebuild

There's a new version of mma out now!

I changed dodoc to a direct copy for the pdf's because I don't want them to be
gzipped

I've missed previously that Bob changed some folder names. This new ebuild runs a "mma -G" after install to build mma library database.

new version out. I'll update the ebuilds although the community seems not very interested to put it in the portage tree.

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.
