inotify-utils-0.21-r1.ebuild
I feel like a spammer. But: now it's completely slottable.
What's about that, should I close it? Are there any problems getting this into portage? As I can see, we don't have anything for inotify in portage, but vanilla-sources support them since 2.6.13. Anyone interested in me testing the ebuild with the current version? Unless I'm mistaken, inotify-utils isn't really that useful for most people - it only provides a simple test application. inotify-utils is not a requirement for other applications to use inotify. We should include inotify-tools instead: http://inotify-tools.sourceforge.net/ Will open a new bug for that... See bug #142189 FYI, =sys-fs/inotify-tools-2.2 is in portage now (~x86). Thanks Wolfram. I'm pretty sure that including inotify-utils as well as inotify-tools would be pretty redundant, if someone disagrees please reopen this bug and reassign to maintainer-wanted@gentoo.org |
