could you attach the output of `dmesg` right after booting uhh... ext2 and ext3 are the same filessytem, just one has a journal... therefore you kinda need to mount -t ext3 any ext3 partition... if you are using any kernel prior to 2.4.20-preX I forget which version... but recently a bit got merged to check for journal first so that mount without -t works right. |
