Bug 86177 – Bootstrapping failed on gcc-3.3.2-r5

I was trying to do a stage 1 install by following the Gentoo handbook and the bootstrapping failed on gcc-3.3.2-r5. 
Output from bootstrap.sh is under "Additional information".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Boot from minimal livecd
2.Download stage1 and portage tarballs
3.Extract according to Gentoo handbook
4.Run bootstrap.sh to bootstrap the system

Actual Results:  
Bootstrapping fails with gcc build error.

Expected Results:  
Bootstrapped system.

Does this still happen with the 2005.1 livecd?

stage1 and stage2 are not currently supported anymore so closing this as WONTFIX.
