Created attachment 795032 [details] emerge --info This system was current in May 2022. I did not update during June 2022. When I did it in July, it was a major update (500+ packages). Firefox update failed somewhere during the update, preventing it to complete. After that, gnome was broken: "Oh no, something went wrong". So, I uninstalled firefox, restarted the update and, after completion, the system was running fine again. But, now, firefox fails to emerge successfully. I have this problem on this system and another different computer as well. So, it is not an insulated case. So, i have now two systems that can't install and run firefox.
