There is already a comment about vim. This is what i use for emacs: diff_command="eval emacs -nw --eval=\(ediff\ \"%file1\"\ \"%file2\"\)" Jürgen I'd prefer to remove the comment about vim ;) Putting a hold on feature requests for portage as they are drowning out the bugs. Most of these features should be available in the next major version of portage. But for the time being, they are just drowning out the major bugs and delaying the next version's progress. Any bugs that contain patches and any bugs for etc-update or dispatch-conf can be reopened. Sorry, I'm just not good enough with bugzilla. ;) This is a simple bug that should be decided on and closed :) in trunk This is fixed in r2646 for release in 2.1_pre5. Released in 2.1_pre5. |
