I don't think I understand just what it is you are trying to accomplish here. Why are you mixing CPAN installs with portage like this? First, why not use the provided ebuild for net-sftp and net-ssh-perl? Second, if there is a module you want that isn't in the tree, use g-cpan if you want it recorded by portage, otherwise, why try to mix the two?? If you are having a problem with one of the ebuilds, provide the error from that. Reopen this if you want, wbut no answer in a week makes me suspect that this bug is going to sit |
